The brand new trailer for director Simon West's remake of The Mechanic has made its explosive debut. The film, starring Jason Statham, is a remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson film of the same name and follows the story of an assassin avenging the death of his close friend and mentor (Donald Sutherland). Things get complicated when the son of his friend enters the fray. The characters in the Simon West (Con Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) version bares the same names as the original, but the plot of the original has received a tweak (you'll have to watch the original). As a long time fan of Charles Bronson, it is good to see that the person filling one of the most badass shoes in film history is a serious badass himself. Few could ever take the mantle of Mr. Bronson, Jason Statham is one of them. The Mechanic co-stars Ben Foster and Donald Sutherland, and...

Read MoreFresh from the acclaim received in Chloe, rising starlet Amanda Seyfried features in Red Riding Hood; a horror remake of the classic fairy tale done with an added dose of werewolf. Yes, werewolves. Read MoreOne of the most mildly disappointed memories of my punk rock teen years was getting Television City Dream and thinking, “man, this is a great, angry, punk rock album but why does it sound like shit?” Okay so, maybe I didn’t think it sounded like ‘shit’ but I do remember recognizing the difference in audio quality between Bark Like a Dog and Television City Dream. It wasn’t a crucial denouement, being a punk rock kid and all, because you know, back in the day, when you sounded crisp and clean you had sold out. Really. But don’t tell Ben Weasel that, because more than a decade after its original release, his vision for what the album should have sounded like has come to fruition. Remastered and resequenced to include additional bonus tracks of outtakes/b-sides (along with new artwork), the reissue of Television City Dream does the most important thing it aims...
